Jayne Kennedy is the first African-American contesntant to bag the 1970 Miss Ohio USA crown. She moved to Los Angeles, California with her husband to pursue her career in acting and eventually became a sportscaster. Jayne worked in The NFL Today and even graced several issues of Ebony and Jet magazines. During the 80's she signed a contract under Coca-Cola's Tab and Diet Coke. Jayne Kennedy has raised million dollars for hospital when she worked in an international non-profit organization called Children's Miracle Network. She is married to Bill Overton and had three children with him.
